Barcha Hnizdilova – Capilano Blues

The Czech international went for a career-best 28 points Saturday to help the Blues complete a convincing weekend sweep of #3-ranked CBC Bearcats. Hnizdilova played all 40 minutes Saturday and drilled six threes, three of which came in the opening quarter, while also pulling down six boards and recording two blocks. The 5-foot-11 forward wasn’t required to score as much in Friday’s lopsided win but still filled her stat line with 10 rebounds and six assists. For the weekend, she had 32 points, 16 boards, seven assists and two steals. She is named the Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
