Swiss Charger

Forward Kanda Diop of the Camosun Chargers has entered her final PACWEST semester on the basketball court and although she is looking forward to graduation, she has high hopes for her team who is hosting the basketball championship in early March.

The Swiss native is averaging over 11 points a game leads the Conference with almost 10-rebounds each contest.  Her club currently sits in fifth place with eight games to go in the regular season, six of them at home, plus the playoffs.

She stopped and recently talked with Ryan Watters prior to her game in the Okanagan and shares some of her basketball story growing up in Switzerland, what brought her Canada and Victoria, and where does she see herself after Camosun?
