Female Golf Athlete of the Week
Alex Foston – VIU Mariners

The PACWEST championship came down to a one-hole playoff in which Foston outlasted the competition and won her first golf gold medal. She was on top of the leaderboard through the first two days of the championship tournament shooting rounds of 79 or 83. She would birdie the playoff hole and capture the PACWEST title and punch her ticket to the CCAA national championship in Medicine Hat.

Daniel Campbell – UFV Cascades

For the second straight season Daniel Campbell is on top of the PACWEST with a gold medal performance over the weekend. He shot a three-round total of 214, four strokes better than the next competitor. He set the pace with a course low 68 on the Friday, and then followed up with a 69 on Saturday. On Sunday he put his game into cruise control and punched his ticket to the CCAA national championship.
