The PACWEST is proud to announce the golf Athletes of the Week following the second tournament of the season.

Female Golf Athlete of the Week
Samantha Copeland – UBC Okanagan Heat

For the second straight week, rookie Samantha Copeland was the class of the PACWEST women’s field winning on her home course. Following her first round on Saturday, she found herself three strokes back of the leaders in the clubhouse. Sunday she hit a new level and shot a tournament low 82 and cruised to victory with a two-round total of 169, three strokes better than second place.

Male Golf Athlete of the Week
Wyatt Brook – VIU Mariners

He shot out of the gate on Saturday and was the leader in the clubhouse after day one, shooting a tournament low 64 putting himself in the driver’s seat. On Sunday Brook continued to play well with the conditions less than ideal. He shot a 72 and hung on for a two-stroke victory over Daniel Campbell of UFV.
