Who will win the PACWEST and head to the CCAA Nationals?
The 2022 volleyball PACWEST championship tournament is set to begin on Thursday February 24th on the campus of Columbia Bible College for the first time since 2016. The six-team tournament gives the top two seeds a bye into the semi-finals which are scheduled for Friday. Then Saturday the medal matches will take place with the winner punching their ticket to the National Championship.
This will be the first PACWEST volleyball championship in two years and tournament passes are available now. Reserve your spot to watch all 12 matches and purchase your pass HERE. Whether travelling from a distance or just wanting to ensure you can attend the matches the championship pass is a great option which can be purchased at anytime online. Meanwhile the championship website is also the official home of the tournament and will feature match previews, summaries, featured interviews and links to the free web stream.
The winner of the women's bracket will represent the PACWEST at the CCAA national finals, which is set for Holland College in PEI beginning Thursday March 10th. The VIU Mariners are the three-time defending champions. The PACWEST also receives a second berth at this year's Nationals as a wildcard.
On the men's side they will travel to Quebec and play at Cegep Limoilou in Quebec City for the national championship. The Capilano Blues are the defending champions but will have a tough task getting back to the nationals as the fifth seed and will have to win three matches in three days beginning on Thursday.
The championship tournament runs from Thursday February 24 – Saturday February 26. Matches from both men and women will begin each day at 12:30pm and be broadcasted HERE. (same link for women's and men's matches).

Please note, all spectators (ages 12+) will need to present a valid vaccine passport (2 doses or more) for entry. Masks are mandatory in Columbia Place on the campus of Columbia Bible College and all other buildings on campus.
