For the first time since the 2016 PACWEST volleyball championship the #3 seeded Camosun Chargers will face the #6 seeded and host COTR Avalanche. This was the same matchup in Abbotsford in 2016 with the Avalanche upsetting the Chargers in what would be a magical run for their first ever gold medal. As for the Chargers they are back in the championship after missing out last season. They haven’t won a playoff match since 2015.
