The last semi-final today will see the Chargers and Royals meet with a berth to the PACWEST gold medal game and the CCAA national championship on the line. The Royals have not played yet this tournament after finishing first and receiving a bye while the Chargers had a hard fought 89-84 win over the #5 Langara Falcons in the quarterfinal yesterday.
They met three times during the regular season with the Royals winning all three by an average of 24 points. They last met on February 16th with the Royals winning by 22 points. That was also the last game the Royals played a game after receiving a bye last week as well and may need to shake off some game rust early on tonight.
