Kai Leighton – VIU Mariners

What a finish for the fifth-year veteran and his PACWEST basketball career, knocking down a gold medal winning three-point shot at the buzzer on Saturday night.  Kai Leighton did it all for the Mariners helping them win their 10th Conference championship and second in three seasons.   In their two playoff games Leighton tallied 33 points shooting 50% from the field and was 53% from the three-point line.  He added five rebounds, six assists, two steals and had a block over the course of the tournament.
