Royals Welcome New Bench Boss

Douglas College Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Luka Vukalovic as head coach of the men's basketball program. Vukalovic brings over 20 years of international coaching experience across Europe, Asia, and Canada, with a strong track record in player development and program building. He was most recently an assistant coach at the University of the Fraser Valley and was an assistant coach at Capilano University during the 2024-25 season.

"I'm excited to join Douglas College and work with our student athletes to build a culture of excellence on and off the court," said Vukalovic. "My focus is on helping players grow as competitors and as people, preparing them for success in basketball, academics, and life."

Vukalovic will begin his role as head coach on May 15th in preparation for the upcoming PACWEST season.
