What a rookie season for Caet McCorkell of the Douglas Royals. She led her team with 304 kills; one of only two players to reach the 300 kill plateau. She also led her team with 366 total offensive points and added 42 aces.
She was named the PACWEST Rookie of the Year and did not disappoint in the championship tournament. In the two matches the Royals played McCorkell slammed home 18 kills, tallied an ace, 25 digs and three blocks. Her performance helped the Royals win their first PACWEST championship since 1995.
