The Mariners peppered Blues’ keeper Nikki Gerbrandt with 15 shots in total. For the most part she was solid and didn’t let anything past her until in the late stages of the game.
Chloe Gummer opened the scoring for the home side Mariners in the 75th minute, a goal that would turn out to be the game winner. Just six minutes later Karen Battie put the game away in the 81st minute getting a ball past Gerbrandt.
Mariners’ keeper Melanie Osborne recorded the shutout turning aside all nine shots she faced.

It was all Royals in this contest sending 10 shots to the Falcons’ keeper. Taylor Wettig opened the Royals’ scoring in the eighth minute, scoring what would turn out be the game winner.
Then in the 26th minute Rachel Kilbrai gave the Royals a two-goal advantage. Gracie Quesnelle scored the Royals third goal of the first half in the 41st minute. Then in the 56th Mikaela Montagano finished off the scoring with her first of the year.
Tess Venables turned away both shots she faced for her first shutout.

Like on Saturday the Royals jumped out to an early lead when Gracie Quesnelle scored her second of the season in the seventh minute. Then Taylor Spong potted her first of the year in the 24th minute, a goal that would hold up as the game winner.
In the second half the Royals again scored early as Alyssa Lum got a ball past keeper Samantha Seaborn in the 47th minute for her first of the campaign.
The Falcons would finally get on the board in the 69th minute when Megan Estrada would score her first of the season but it was too little late.
