For the second straight day these two teams will meet after a lopsided Mariners win last night. They shot 50% from the field for their 12th win of the season. Each player on their roster scored led by Shayce Johnston and her 16 points. Their defence was stifling holding the Bearcats to shoot just 20% from the field.

Friday night the Royals played a gritty road game and came away with a 79-56 victory over the Falcons. They shot 47% from the field led by Sydney Fraess who dropped a game high 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Hailey Van Roekel finished with a double-double of 11 points and 11 boards. With the win the Royals move six points ahead of the Falcons for third place in the standings coming into tonight’s tip off.

Earlier today the Coyotes scored an important road victory at Camosun. They jump out quickly outscoring the hometown Chargers 19-16 in the first quarter and never really looked back for their fourth win of the season. Kennedy Andres led her club with 15 points and Jordan Andres added 14 in the victory. The Chargers were led by Aiden Kilcommons coming off the bench to score a game high 18 points.

Friday night the Chargers held on for an 80-74 victory despite the Coyotes strong fourth quarter seeing them outscore them 29-22. Chargers’ guard Chloe Scaber was masterful dropping a game high 30 points.
