Okanagan Coyotes 69
Langara Falcons 61

The Coyotes bounced back from a Friday night loss to beat the Falcons by eight points. They shot 36.1% from the field led by Jordan Kemper and Sapna Deo who both finished with 16 points each. Jordan Andres had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Falcons had a tough day shooting the ball with just one player reaching double digits. Emma Jones was outstanding scoring 27 of the Falcons 61 points. She also had eight rebounds and four assists.

VIU Mariners 72
Douglas Royals 46

The Mariners outscored the Royals 22-9 in the third quarter pulling away for good shooting 40.6% from the field. Danielle Vanbergen led the way with 14 points including connecting on four-three pointers. Kayla Gromme came off the bench to drain four-threes and finish with 12 points.

The Royals struggled offensive shooting 26.7% from the field and didn’t have a scorer reach double-digits. Hailey Van Roekel dropped a team high nine points.

Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm the Royals (5-3) will host the Mariners (7-0) again looking to split the weekend. WATCH HERE

It was all Chargers on Saturday night shooting 38.2% from the field. Jasmine de Vries had a game high 16 points and Tessa Lannon-Paakspuu finishd with 15. Ten of the 11 players of the Chargers roster hit the scoresheet.
