The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2019 CCAA Women’s Basketball All-Canadians from the PACWEST.

The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2019 CCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship, hosted by Cégep de Sainte-Foy in Quebec on Wednesday night.

Here are the 2019 PACWEST/CCAA Women’s Basketball All-Canadians:

Rachel Beauchamp

Beauchamp led the PACWEST with 19.3 points per game and 13.1 rebounds per game. The PACWEST Player of the Year is now a three-time CCAA All-Canadian. She's a fifth-year forward who epitomizes the true meaning of student-athlete. She is a past recipient of the CCAA Academic All-Canadian and CCAA National Scholar awards. In addition to her impact on the court and in the classroom, Beauchamp continues to give back on campus and in the community with several volunteer initiatives.

Amber Lease
VIU Mariners

Lease led the Mariners to a 17-1 record and first-place finish in the PACWEST. The third-year guard ranked first in the conference with 79 assists and second with 37 steals. Lease has a passion and a level of compete that are second to none. She is relentless in every facet of the game and is able to play at a fast pace, yet with a sense of calmness. Defensively, Lease creates havoc and she is also an excellent passer and shooter.
