Capilano Blues 3 – 25-19, 25-17, 25-17
COTR Avalanche 0

The Blues won their 11th of the season with a three-set sweep of the Avalanche. Jacob Hopkins had a team high 10 kills while Rafael Hilario added nine. Simon Friesen recorded 26 assists.

Without Caleb Peters and Gustavo Bertoli in the line-up the Avalanche struggled to find points. Mason Hoffman had a team high eight kills.

The Blues (11-3) who have won 10 straight will again host the Avalanche (4-13) on Sunday at 1:00pm. WATCH HERE

Camosun Chargers 3 – 25-16, 25-21, 25-20
CBC Bearcats 0

The Chargers welcomed Eduardo Bida back into the line-up on Saturday and he made a definite impact with a team high nine kills. Ty Moorman was also a factor with eight kills.

On the other side of the net the Bearcats struggled to find offence with just 23 kills in total. Noah Bouius was the primary weapon with nine kills.

Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm the Chargers (8-6) will again host the Bearcats (1-12). WATCH HERE

VIU Mariners 3 – 25-16, 25-23, 25-13
UFV Cascades 0

The Mariners dominated the Cascades on Saturday led by Jeff Webb and his 10 kills alongside Dario De Queiroz-Pereira who tallied eight kills. It was their second straight win over the hometown Cascades.

Caleb Kastelein led the home side with eight kills, but just five players recorded a kill.
