What does it mean to you to be selected as the lead coach for the Canada Games?

“I have had the great fortune to be involved in the Canada Games in a number of different capacities over the years from Chef de Mission to Canada Games Council Board Member to parent of a member of Team BC Men’s Volleyball at the Games. Coaching in this event, however, is one of the things I have always wanted to do but the timing was never quite right, so to have the opportunity to lead Team BC into the 2021 Niagara Games is both a thrill and a privilege. We have terrific young talent and amazing coaches in this province and working with Volleyball BC I’m really excited to be part of unfolding a Canada Games program that will be an instrumental step along their pathway to excellence. I want to invite all British Columbia athletes born in 2003 to join us in the journey and embrace this opportunity. As the slogan says, the 2021 Niagara Canada Games are ‘Once, and for All’.”
