Last night the Bearcats punched their ticket to the post season with a 3-1 win at home over the Cascades, which also eliminated the visitors. Tonight’s result won’t change anything and means very little in the standings. The Bearcats will finish in sixth and will play in a quarterfinal on Thursday in Cranbrook when the playoffs begin.

It’s the first half of the home and home for the Island Rivalry to conclude the regular season. Just four points separates these two teams heading into tonight. In their previous meetings this season the Chargers beat the Mariners in back to back four-set matches. The Chargers are also just four points back of Douglas for first place with a match in hand. This will prove to be a very exciting weekend.
