The Capilano Blues put an exclamation point on the first semester with a 123-64 win over the CBC Bearcats on Tuesday night.
The offence of the Blues saw six players score double-digits led by Denver Sparks-Guest who nailed four-three pointers and finished with a game high 23 points. Hassan Phills was just as solid with 19 points on 7 of 13 shooting and Brendan Bailey dropped 14 points and five assists. In all the offence shot 58.5% from the field.
The Bearcats just didn’t have the horses to stay with the Blues. They shot 25% from the field but were led by Ty Cleland’s 17 points and Jack Nadelhoffer added 11.
The Blues (3-3) enter the break after back to back wins while the Bearcats (0-6) are still searching for answers. Both teams will be back on the floor in PACWEST play on January 5th.
