The PACWEST Announces Championship Dates

The PACWEST is pleased to announce the hosts for the 2019-2020 championships in golf, soccer, volleyball and basketball.

The winners of these championships will represent the PACWEST Conference at the CCAA National championships as they play for a national crown.

The first PACWEST championship is golf which will be hosted the Douglas College and the Royals athletics department. They will host the weekend of September 27-29, 2019. Two and a half weeks later the CCAA nationals will be hosted in Quebec.

The next PACWEST championship to take place will be soccer hosted by Langara College and the Falcons athletics department. The tournament will take place at Burnaby Lakes Sports Complex on October 26 and 27th. The winners will move onto the CCAA Nationals. The women will travel to Edmonton while the men will fly to Durham Ontario.

The first PACWEST championship of 2020 will be on the volleyball court hosted by the Douglas Royals. This is the second championship they will host this upcoming school season. The tournament will take place on their New West campus from Thursday February 20 – Saturday February 22. The winners will play for CCAA gold; the women in Quebec City while the men make the long trip to Fredericton New Brunswick.

Finally the 2020 PACWEST basketball championships will head back to North Vancouver hosted by the Capilano University Blues. The three day tournament tips off Thursday February 27th and will conclude on Saturday February 29th. Following this championship the women will stay close to home for the CCAA Nationals as VIU will host. The men’s champion however will head to Toronto with Humber College hosting.
